{pale+sunburn=ouch}

As I said earlier, yesterday was my big brother's wedding, which was beautiful and amazing and so much fun. It was also outside at Red Barn Farm in Weston, MO... which meant we were in the sun. I knew we'd be outside for pictures and the ceremony and completely ignored the need to put on sun screen. BIG MISTAKE!!

So... today my shoulder is in serious misery:

**dress with a lacy top means blotchy awkward burn, yay!

But... I have a remedy!

BLACK TEA

I am not a tea drinker, especially black tea, but I do have a Kuerig, and in a sampler pack once-upon-a-time I had black tea included. So, I brewed up the black tea, popped in an ice cube, and waited until it cooled down:

I used an old washcloth, stained with mascara and ready to be thrown out, and soaked up the black tea then placed it on my shoulder. {I put on a black tube top, and made sure I wasn't in dripping range of anything that would get stained} Once it dried up soaked again and repeat, and repeat, and repeat. Something in the black tea helps to sooth sunburn, it felt so much better immediately!

Wait and shower until the next day so the soaked in black tea can do it's magic and this should save you a little misery.

Let me know if this works for you!! I'd love to hear your feedback!
