{a purple eye look}

One of my favorite makeup looks is a violet eye. Especially on a green or brown eye, purple helps bring out the {yellow} honey and gold flecks in the eye, it's so beautiful.

And of course, Rihanna's got to bring some drama to the mix going with a royal purple it adds a little more edge.

And I personally do a purple underneath the eye quite a bit in the summer, it's so beautiful and fresh. I like it with a golden or bronze on the top lid, and purple underneath. AND you can do this super quick with a couple smudgy liners, one on top, one on bottom, done.

So does this mean I'm doing a purple eye tomorrow?? Yes, yes, it does.

For a brighter, lighter purple eye I typically pair it with a tinted lip balm, or a soft pinkish gloss

For a smokier, more dramatic night eye {lined with black or a plum-black liner at the inner waterline & tons of mascara} I usually go a little less girly with a nude gloss or nude lip.
