Today in Kansas City, it's a perfect rainy day for sitting on the couch and watching movies... so of course, for the 456th time, Sex and the City it is!
It's also been a hot spring, and I think summer is going to get steamy!! So, as inspired by the amazing Carrie Bradshaw, today calls for a little walk-through of the many buns of summer...

Love this: sleek front, straight back, volume from the bun itself. A few fly-aways keeping it imperfect.
A high bun with naturally curly hair! So pretty I love the texture curls give looks like this. I also love the baby tendrils left at the hairline.
More polished, sleek front, sleek bun in the back. Beautiful, really shows off a nice neckline.
LOVE this bun, super sleek shiny front, lower than the others, about ear level. So classic; however, the messy slightly frizzy mussed up bit makes it so modern and fresh.
Even with a casual look, love the high bun! This is best a little less polished.
**Such an amazing style for summer. Heat... humidity... rain... you're set. I think I wear it at least once a week... also great for when your hair is dirty
